A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

Your travels, mapped.

  1. Open a country from the map or country list.
  2. Mark the regions you’ve visited, or switch to Cities and select places.
  3. A city marks its mapped region. A visited region or city counts the country.
  4. Go back to Europe to see your country coverage, then download your map.

Europe percentage = countries visited ÷ 51. Country percentage = mapped regions visited ÷ mapped regions available. These are travel milestones, not a measurement of land area.

Removing a region also removes selected cities within it. Use Undo if you change your mind.

CLEAR & SIMPLE

About this atlas

Our broad 51-country scope includes Kosovo, Cyprus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Türkiye. Dependencies are not counted separately. Åland is part of Finland. France’s overseas regions are excluded; full-country regions are included for transcontinental countries.

Regions follow the bundled boundary dataset, so the administrative level and boundary year vary by country. Small states without usable subdivisions count as one whole-country region. Simplified maps are for personal travel tracking, not navigation or legal boundaries.

Cities and towns come from the GeoNames cities5000 snapshot, including places with over 5,000 people and administrative seats. This is not a list of every village. You can mark a region directly when a smaller place is missing. Cities outside mapped regions count their country, but cannot increase region completion.

Visits and your optional name stay in this browser’s local storage. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising cookies or server-side visit records. The hosting provider may retain normal access logs. Clearing browser data removes your progress; download a backup to keep it safe.

Boundaries include Kartverket (Norway, CC BY 4.0), geoBoundaries / William & Mary geoLab and Natural Earth. Cities: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Modified by simplification, filtering and city-to-region matching. See country source metadata and data licenses.
